Hi, I’m Kris Knopp founder of Practically Dreaming. I started this site to inspire and educate people about the power of their dreams. Dreams offer a unique and practical way to connect with your deepest self and make positive changes in your life.
Over the centuries inventors, geniuses, world leaders, spiritual teachers, psychologists, and creatives have credited their dreams with giving them great ideas and insights in life. Today, we’ve lost touch with our dreams and the help they can give us.
Have you ever woken up with
a great idea or a solution to a nagging problem
or a very vivid dream that stays with you for hours?
I believe YOU are the best person to interpret the meaning of your dreams. With a little focus, some information, and a guide to help you get started, you can open a dialogue with your authentic self and unlock the mystery for yourself. As an added bonus, you can use this same symbolic language to guide you through your waking life in the form of symbols and synchronicity, too.
The Story of My Dreams
I’ve always been a vivid dreamer but never really understood the power of my dreams. When I began life coach training in 2003 with Martha Beck and she trained us in dreamwork, I was hooked! I enthusiastically enrolled in more classes and did more research. I began to understand more about dreams and learn my own unique dream symbol language. Today, I rely on my dreams, symbolic language and intuition to help me make decisions in life. By blending practical and effective coaching strategies and the power of your dreams, you have a winning combo that allows you to be your best and live authentically.
Certifications and Work Experience
I am a Certified life coach (CoachVille, Martha Beck Certified Coach, IAC). My professional experience includes working in management and training at CoachVille School of Coaching and Director of Programming and Content at Compass. Prior to my coaching career, I worked as a CPA at Phillips Petroleum Comany in Bartlesville, OK.
Before you go…
I hope you enjoy visiting the site. Stop by the bookstore before you leave. The books there are some of my favorites.
Sweet Dreams!
